Please support Brolga research by donating to the Nature Glenelg Trust Research Fund!
Nature Glenelg Trust and the University of Melbourne are seeking your help to fund an investigation into the genetic status of the southern Brolga population. Currently there is some uncertainty surrounding the connectivity of the northern and southern Brolga populations, including doubts about whether they are the same species. If the southern Brolga population is determined to be genetically distinct, its conservation status is likely to move from ‘threatened’ to ‘critically endangered’, increasing the urgency of its protection. Click here to read more about the project and to find out how you can help fund this important research.
New BRG banners
Here are a few of our members and friends with the new Brolga Recovery Group banners we have created to use at upcoming events to help us spread key messages about Brolga protection on private land.
The banners were made possible by a grant from Landcare Australia and Powercor/Citipower.
